On April 28, 2026, the USPTO granted Biocanic US Patent 12,614,641 B2, titled Multi-Stage Workflow Processing and Analysis Platform. The patent carries 19 claims and covers the core of what Nexus does: accessing a patient's data, presenting it through an interface that links workflow elements to individual data points, executing those workflows to generate new data, and displaying the combined picture back to the practitioner. In plain terms, it protects the method behind turning siloed health data into connected, actionable workflows. In a category that is suddenly very crowded, that is a real moat around the engine we built.

Biocanic has been selected as a Phase 1 winner in the HHS TOPx Tech Sprint for AI and Invisible Illness, and we're advancing to Phase 2.
