BasiFly has progressed from an early-stage concept into an actively developing travel technology platform focused on creating more flexible alternatives to commercial air travel. To date, we have launched our beta landing page and begun testing our MVP through an initial proof of concept focused on the Nantucket market. We have engaged prospective travelers for customer discovery and UX feedback, initiated partnerships and discussions with private charter operators, assembled a Board of Advisors, and started building awareness within the aviation, startup, and travel communities. Our work so far has centered on validating demand, refining the customer experience, and developing a scalable model for coordinating private air travel demand more efficiently.
BasiFly is moving from validation to execution. BasiFly is building a technology enabled marketplace designed to make private air travel easier to discover and access by connecting previously untapped traveler demand with licensed private flight operators and available capacity. Over the past several months, we have made significant progress validating the opportunity and building the foundation for the next stage of the company. Our work has included extensive customer and industry discovery, engagement with private aviation operators and airports, continued refinement of our target market and business model, and development of a phased product and technology roadmap. That progress is consistent with the much more detailed internal picture of BasiFly today. We are now expanding the team and ecosystem around BasiFly, including technical leadership, experienced advisors, aviation-industry relationships, go-to-market resources, and a university collaboration supporting market, data and analytical development. Our focus now is execution: bringing the next iteration of the platform to market, connecting qualified traveler demand with operators, and beginning to build the proprietary marketplace intelligence that can make BasiFly increasingly valuable to both sides of the private aviation ecosystem. The long term vision remains simple: make private aviation easier to understand, discover and access.
