Fig is autopilot for agentic coding. Slop shackles you, (your time, attention, and money) to fixing problems that shouldn't exist. Fig is a principled, quality focused, system for developing software that plays the role of today's software engineers by producing quality work you can trust without an human in the loop. Frankly software engineers have been reduced to babysitters by, and for, AI. Most of the job is saying yes to agents, managing context, repeatedly prompting agents with the same handful of skills, and "reviewing" (complete theater! Today's 'reviews' are just another person on the telling the same model that wrote code to review code with fresh context; utterly wasteful). The job has never been easier, more boring, less satisfying, and more replaceable, so I replaced myself. Now I hand Fig my big ideas and it builds them. A game, a business, an app, something that would require a team of engineers equipped with the same AI models to get right, Fig just does it (as long as it's software). It, or something like it, will replace engineers as soon as people are ready to accept it, because frankly today's models are powerful enough for >99% of all the code written today. I say this with confidence because they're already writing it.
