Hydrogen Release Unit (HRU)
Liquid organic hydrogen carriers (LOHCs) are oils that store hydrogen inside their chemical bonds. They're liquid at room temperature and ambient pressure, they're already produced commercially today, and they move through the same pipelines, tanker trucks, and fuel pumps that diesel does — no compression, no cryogenic tanks, no new infrastructure. The catch has always been getting the hydrogen back out. That takes a chemical reactor, and until now those reactors were the size of a shipping container — fine for a chemical plant, impossible to put on a vehicle. We shrunk it to the size of a mini fridge. Our Hydrogen Release Unit (HRU) is the breakthrough that unlocks LOHC as a real fuel for heavy-duty mobility. A truck running our powertrain keeps the same 600-mile daily range and refueling time as diesel, with zero tailpipe emissions and a 13% lower total cost of ownership.
