Distributed batteries will be a core part of the future electric grid. They’re already serving homes and utilities, but commercial and industrial customers remain vastly underserved. Electricity is also their major and increasingly difficult-to-control operating expense. EQORE closes this gap with turnkey, ML-controlled batteries that reduce electricity costs without changing facility operations. EQORE tackles the two biggest challenges of C&I storage: economics and scalability. Their software captures every available battery monetization stream simultaneously and transfers from site to site without bespoke engineering. Their highly standardized deployment model gives customers a single accountable partner without sacrificing speed or repeatability. EQORE has 10 paying customers and $1.9M in TCV, with systems already deployed and outperforming across MA, NH, and CA — all with a team of six and just $1.1M of capital used to date. EQORE’s three founders (Valeriia, Jorge, and Donald) bring degrees from MIT and Duke, battery engineering expertise from Tesla and Apple, and 6+ years of commercial project permitting, construction, and management experience. EQORE is raising a $10M Seed, with their early investors — including MassCEC, Henry Ford III, and Jonathan Kraft — looking to participate.
