United StatesTetraxis Therapeutics is developing a novel tetra-receptor agonist platform for metabolic diseases, combining GLP-1R, GIPR, GcgR, and Y2R agonism to improve tolerability and efficacy in obesity and MASH treatment. The platform addresses the critical tolerability failure that prevents patients from reaching therapeutic doses of current GLP-1 therapies.
Novel tetra-receptor agonist chimera targeting GLP-1R, GIPR, GcgR, and Y2R for obesity and MASH treatment. The platform adds orthogonal satiety through PYY/Y2R activation, requiring lower GLP-1R intensity and reducing GI nausea burden while maintaining high efficacy. The 38-amino-acid peptide is a New Chemical Entity with composition of matter and method of treatment patents filed, following the 505(b)(1) NDA regulatory pathway.
